Do you understand electric heaters?
I’m a bit confused – just moved into a new flat. The front room has a Dimplex wall-mounted electric panel heater. On the top it has three dials – one with numbers up to 6, one with 3 symbols: (sun, moon and snowflake),and the last dial labelled ‘setback’ with options from -2 degrees to -7.
Can anyone tell me how on earth I’m supposed to use it? It’s not a night storage heater, so what’s with the night/day settings? And what on earth is ‘setback’? Any help would be greatly appreciated! I can’t find a manual anywhere!
Sun is hot, snowflake is cold? What? My heater doesn’t do ‘cold’, it does ‘off’. And what are the numbers for then? Isn’t it more likely that sun is day, moon is night, and the snowflake is frost protection or something? But why do I need those settings when there are numbers as well?
