Which is more energy efficient?
I have a space heater in my room (one of those big metal ones with water inside). I also have an individual thermostat in my room.
Which is more energy efficient/ costs less?
Running the space heater to heat up my room
or
Turning up the thermostat?
(I’m not sure of the cost of electricity for the space heater, or what type of heat I use (my roommate takes care of that lol)
I just want a general idea)

Space heater, since the thermostat will try to heat up the entire house…
Just because it’s in your room doesn’t necessarily mean your room has its own heater and air conditioning.
