What is the safest (but still powerful) way of heating my 2 car garage?
I have a 2 car garage that I work in and need an efficient way of heating it. I already have 2 electric heaters (radiant and oil filled) but they really dont do enough, and I cant really use an electric because we already are pushing the circuts with power tools..
We just got one of those circular kerosene 23000 btu heaters from walmart, It seems to help but isnt completely enough still. And I am starting to wonder how safe it is, with carbon monoxide and all.
So what would you suggest? safest most powerfull heater for closed spaces?
1. Add insulation.
2. Install a heating system. A motel heater is designed for about the space you’re trying to heat. You cut it on only when you need it.
3. Kerosene heat is safe relative to carbon monoxide if you have ventilation. However, it does give off fumes and it does dry the air, so using it can lead to more and more involved upper respiratory infections.
