What is causing the heater fan and stereo to not work in my Mercedes CLK 320?
For several months the stereo in my 1998 Mercedes Benz CLK 320 has not worked. The stereo display comes on and looks like it is working but there is no sound. Now the heater fan does not work right. It only runs intermittenly. I checked the fuses and the only one that was broken was the one for “heated washer system,” so I don’t think that fuse has anything to do with this problem. Any ideas of what is causing the stereo and heater fan to not work?
They’re likely not related. For the stereo, I’d suspect the radio itself or the amplifier. The fan sounds like an intermittent blower regulator.
