How can I heat my home with a gas stove?
Heat is included with my rent, but I cannot control the temperature – which is unfortunate for me because I like my winters nice and toasty. I have an electric space heater, but they are incredibly expensive to run. So, I had an idea…
I live in an apartment that has a new gas stove in the kitchen. I am required to pay electric, but gas is included with the price of my rent.
How can I increase the temperature of my apartment during the winter months for free, using the gas and/or gas stove?
That is very dangerous, but I used to do it. I’d light just two burners, but only when we were at home and awake. Be sure nothing is sitting close to the flame and don’t do it all the time. We only do it when it was extra chilly.
