Noma wall heater overheating?
Hi. I have just installed a Noma 1000/2000W 240V wall heater. It is controlled with a Dimplex 2 pole thermostat. It is wired to a 20 amp circuit breaker. After turning it on it overheats within 2 to 3 minutes.
and shuts itself down. I turned it off and let it cool down for 15 minutes and tried it again with the same results. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
There could be any number of reasons why it’s overheating. The most common reason is if the fan isn’t working. Check the connections. If all your connections appear to have been done properly, return it and ask for a replacement.
