I have a brand new dimplex storage heater that trips out at the main fuse board every night ? Any Ideas…?
Its not the heater as we had the same problem with the old one but the problem hasn’t been resolved with the installation of the new one
Either you have a short in the wiring to a cicuit to a heater, or you have two or more heaters fed from the same breaker. Depends if it trips as soon as the E7 circuit is energised, or after half an hour or so. Switch off one heater for a night at a time to ascertain which. I’m assuming that you have more than one heater. What actually trips, and what is its current rating/type number??
