Storage heater nightmare, help!?
My cousin, while trying to find the reset switch on my storage heater, ended up taking the thing off the wall. When he was putting it back, he could only get one of the screws into the wall bracket, and even that was squint. It didn’t look very safe so I took it out, scared that the weight of the heater might make the screw break. Now the heater isn’t attached to the wall bracket and therefore not attached to the wall as it should be. I phoned a couple of heating engineers but they want like £50 an hour and all i want them to do is put it on the wall, I’m a student and I really cant afford it. Who should I be phoning? Heating people, electrician, or what? Who is cheapest :/ Its a Dimplex heater btw. Help please.
look in the newspaper under handy man and call one of those numbers they will be able to do it for you.
