Are personal heaters be allowed in the office?
I work in a small office, and we share our cubicles with another co-worker so basically we are back to back. Anyway the lady I share my space with has a personal heater she keeps under her desk. My problem is is that she keeps that thing on all day long (8 hrs) and I get so overwhelmed with the heat that It affects my work. I just can not focus, and I get headache’s. I make comments out load that Im hot, and she does nothing. She just lets the heater run on. Are these things even allowed in the office, and can I do anything to keep her from using it? What do I do I cant take it anymore!!??
ask your boss if it’s allowed. then call the fire marshals office to see if it’s allowed.
she shouldn’t have to run it for 8 hrs solid. or should turn it down and bring a lap blanket to use
