im getting hermit crabs do i have everthing i need…?

You won’t likely need a mist machine. The humidity should be at the right level if you spray the tank with safe water daily
The screen top is no good you’ll need a glass or plexi glass one.
If the dechlorinator you use for your fish adds stress or slime coat it’s no good. Ideally for hermit crabs you’ll want to buy one that allows you to mix 1 gallon at a time. The fish products are often for 10 gallons per one or two drops and the math can get pretty tricky.
You didn’t mention anything for climbing. Plastic vines, netting, aquarium decorations, coconut climbs and choya wood is great for climbing and exploring. Consider adding a second level or multi levels. You can buy reptile hammocks or magnitized levels for reptiles, turtle docks or non metal climbs. You can also get creative and make your own. look at some of the crabitat photos on the Crab Street Journal for inspiration.
Don’t forget the isolation unit. You may decide not to isolate healthy moulters but if anything should happen to any of your crabs like serious injury, mites, or bad moult you will need one. if you decide to get more crabs down the road the new animals really should be isolated to ensure the best health of all.
I think that 7-8 crabs in a 20 gallon will get crowed very quickly. I had 6 in a 25 gallon and after about a year they really needed a larger home.
Don’t be afraid to look at online classifieds or newspapers. You can get glass tanks for a fraction of the price if you shop around. My current set up is a 100 gallon tank. It cost me $40. The whole set up lid, lights and stand was just shy of $300 to buy it in a store it would be close to $1000 not including the animals or the stuff inside.
